Our investment team has an in-depth knowledge of the investment market in the UK. We understand our clients’ needs and source investment opportunities to suit those needs. We spend time sourcing “off market” situations where we believe that we can add value. We do this by identifying properties that are not fully utilised or inappropriately occupied or might have development/extension potential. We then trace the owner (perhaps via a Land Registry search) and then research the company so that we are able make a personalised approach. Whilst this is a very time consuming exercise it does produce results. We have bought West End office buildings and East London industrial estates in this way. We advise clients to buy only where we know that the fundamentals are right and we believe in the deal.

When selling, we work closely with our client’s solicitor to ensure that the property is ready to sell by having a complete package of legal documents ready to issue the day we agree a sale. We ensure that there will be no surprises. We thoroughly investigate the property and the market and target the most appropriate buyers to ensure the client achieves the best price within an agreed timetable. Once terms are agreed we liaise with the client, his solicitor and the buyer to ensure that the deal happens efficiently and speedily.
